Whatever works I guess.

Actually it is considered a drainage ditch but its more like a creek. Some pics have been taken of it after a bad storm where a lot of trash had washed up and that has gotten out. The creek runs right besides our practice fields and normally is full and quite pretty, especially in the late spring when the grass grows up around it. But yes its not a beautiful mountain stream by any means. Coach Russell took lemons and made lemonade so to speak with most things because when he came to GS he had limited resources. Eagle Creek was one of those things where he took something simple, not so nice, and made it very popular by talking about it as if it were beautiful and said the water had magic powers. People bought into the story and it became quite the legend. We used to sprinkle the water on opponents fields before the games.

Google creek sometime

Its a drainage ditch. Someone got carried away in naming.

Actually it is a creek that runs behind the practice fields and is used by the practice fields as run off. The creek runs from a wooded area across the street and under the road to the practice area and then continues on under another road and keeps on going. It may be used as drainage for the practice fields but before the fields were built it was a creek. Call it whatever you want, drainage ditch is fine with me, its what the water does that's important.

What it does? or what it causes?

itching
vertigo
dizziness
tingling in extremities
loss of balance or coordination
slurred speech
temporary blindness
profuse sweating
or heart palpitations.

Its simple, really; if you can get past the side effects of cryptosporidium you can accomplish just about anything. Oh, and a pit stop to Uncle Schug's for a chicken biscuit can't hurt, either.

Nobody said that winning didn't come with a few side effects.

Damn right baby! I always wondered why I had some of the above listed problems, but winning made it all better.
