Don't hold your breath waiting for Memphis to learn their lesson(s). The suspensions were never intended to be a "wake-up call". After all, as far as I know, the player who was swinging his helmet is still on the team. That's a freaking joke right there!! Any player attempting to injure and/or maim an opponent (that doesn't involve tackling) should never ever play football again.

This post has shaken the University of Memphis football program to its core.

It's cute that he thinks the bowl game means anything relating to conference standings.

Also don't feed the troll.

Don't know how it's trolling. Memphis is listed #1 in the conference standing on ESPN or yahoo. Don't know what is so hard to understand. Maybe if your other UCF fan wasn't trying to play down our victory against BYU.....

Nobody is playing it down it's just irrelevant with regard to the conf. Fwiw we beat them as well remember. I was there.

You beat them when they were trying to break in a new QB. We played them after they had got a their team back on track.

Ok? They still played well against both of us and we both prevailed? What's your point?

We got them on the back end of the season when they had gelled with their QB and guys got back to full health. You were playing a BYU team reeling from the loss of their starting QB and first time full game action of their backup. They were a much better team from when they played UCF.

Oh that makes a lot of sense. Your win against byu is way better than our win against byu. Solid logic there lol. They had a chance to "gell" with their qb more so obvi a better win lol you can't be serious

It reflected pretty poorly mostly on seattle because New England did the right thing and didn't engage with it very much. Gronk was the only one who really got into bc he was tackled to the ground.

They played the number 5 defense in the country that night and played a similar style of play. They didn't lose much

I agree. It's pointless. We both won and in a similar fashion. That's a good thing.
