RE: 24/7 Latest Recruiting Ratings
It's going to be interesting to see how this class turns out. There appears to be some athletic potential, so the coaching staff is going to have to do it's job. No way does it make the immediate impact that Franklin, Spillane, Braster, Chukes and Matich made this year. Thankfully it doesn't have to.

We won't be able to judge this class until 2018 probably.

Looking at it initially though, the kids they have coming in this year don't have near the offers they did last year. Maybe that is a function of Fleck and company keeping their guys last year, or maybe it's a function of them being guys that are more diamonds in the rough.

Classes always vary. This still looks like a very good quality group. Still they've promised every player they bring should be able to challenge at their position and push to replace someone. That is a very good goal.

What I find interesting is this class is VERY heavy at the skill positions. I wonder who will end up transferring in a few years once they find themselves buried on the depth chart.

It will be a fight at WR...and QB, and lots of RB on roster still even with Franklins success and mainly using just him to carry the load? I guess if I was a WR, RB, or QB I am not buying the "contribute early" line that has potentially brought many of them here. Things will get rather interesting to see who moves positions or like you said just gets OUT!

I think it may also be a function of not being able to offer as many opportunities for the potential of immediate playing time, compared to a season ago.
