Former ULM tight end (and now offensive lineman) Keavon Milton of the Seattle Seahawks will be the only player from the Sun Belt in this year's Super Bowl.

Don't have a player in it but I do know a player for Seattle. His brother played baseball at TXST and I sat with the family for 3 years. He went to OU but he often drove down to weekend series to see him play, when he had time off during Spring Ball.

7th round draft pick, by Philly, in 2013. They cut him and he signed on to the Bengals PS. Seattle nabbed him in December and now he's going to be in the Super Bowl. (He was immediately placed on the active roster and did play in the NFC championship)

Good to know.

BTW, Milton is #66 for Seattle and is a backup OL. With his previous tight end experience maybe the Seahawks should consider a Patriots-style pass play just for him? He scored a few TD's for the Warhawks a couple of years ago.

Still not rooting for the Seahawks.

I'm with you, this is the least interesting Super Bowl to me in several years. I have no desire to root for either one...may not even watch.

From a football (pure X's and O's) perspective, I think it will be a great game.

From a fan perspective, I'm kinda hoping both teams lose horribly.

Gotta root for the Seahawks. That way us Cowboys fans can at least say our team beat the champs.
