RE: No thread on the SBC being dead last this year in the G5 rankings?
Someone is upset.
You are scared, not because you don't think you can win, but because it would be a reminder that your SoCon rival from 20 years ago than beat you more times than not is back playing at the same level as you. Denial is an issue.
We've reached out for a home and home. We bring fans and would provide an easy win according to you as you're clearly a level above us. Why would you not sign a home and home, too busy with Kent St. I guess.

I think their goal is to have the easiest schedule in CFB.

That way they don't have to cheat.

One thing GS and App can agree on, their hate for Marshall. You haven't seen nasty fans until you have spent a fall Saturday in Huntington.

Great logic! I bet there are many other schools terrified to play you with one on one terms. I am equally sure the reason these games aren't their top priority is fear. We haven't played App State in many years, and contrary to your opinion, there really isn't a big fan push to get App on the schedule. You are NOT back on the same level. You are in the same FBS division. No one is running from Happy Appy.
Are you asserting anyone is running from Marshall? Two decent years in over a decade with super weak schedules makes you a big threat all of a sudden? Next years OOC is a joke as well. Not to mention CUSA was not the best G5 either and only had one P5 win over Illinois.
If you are so much above App why not schedule them or at minimum a decent P5 and prove it?
