Does anyone use a roku player? I figured out a way to get the hawks games to stream through the roku which is much better than watching on a laptop

Well roku has a channel called channelpear. If you add that channel to your roku box you can plug in the site for each uncw game on their website and watch them on a regular tv

How the heck do you get the ROKU import the UNCW SDN? I tried and couldn't get it going...

on my mobile i cut and paste the broadcast link to my channelpear account which allows me to watch on the roku.

You have to add the private channel pear channel to your roku as their is no official uncw or caa channel

Thanks for passing along this information Solo. I cut the chord earlier this year and have not missed it a bit. When you say that you copy and paste the link for the event to the site, do you paste it in the "URL to Validate box"? If not, where do you past it? Thanks BW

Yep paste the link from your mobile in that box and folow the instructions from the site. You can do a test run on archived games to make sure it is working for you

Here is an example of what the link should look like. This one is from towson saturday night. Plug it into channel pear and it should work like a charm. Im not going to be able to go to Wednesday nights game so i will try to post the link for that one here when it becomes available to all those interested

Thanks for the update. Don't think I'll be able to make it tomorrow night to the game either. I am looking forward to testing out the Pear.

I can't get crap to work either!!

you have to use your mobile. get to the point where you want to watch the game on your mobile. you will have to click the play arrow to get it to start. but instead of getting the game to start you can copy the link that runs. that is the .m3u8 file

Yeah, I couldn't get it to work with my chromebook or nexus tablet but it did work with my HTC phone. Appreciate the help.

make sure you click the link posted and hit copy link address. do not simply cut and paste the link on the board because the ... are not apart of it
