The Vegas books show UC as a 1 point favorite, not Memphis. I think the OP read it backwards. In my mind, UC should be a favorite by several points, but bettors give the home court some sway, as well as the history that we rarely lose at home.

But my memory says this year's team lost an exhibition at home to CBU, and regular season games at home to S.F. Austin and Tulane, whom UCF beat last night.

Year one of the AAC was a pleasant surprise, this year remains to be a big question mark. Hopefully it works out for the best.
