RE: William & Mary - Game Thread
I can't believe that we didn't at least show a zone look to shake things up. They run their stuff so well they were going to right the ship. The rim does shrink if your a shooter that's marked. Our ball screen D wasn't close to where it normally was tonight. That was the difference. And, standing around trying to shorten the game. I'm for milking a bit but there has to be movement and paint touches. Big Ced needed the rock deeper and should have gotten it and taken it strong. Tough loss because UNCW can play with anybody if they play their game. They didn't play their game tonight.

People are shocked that a 20 point lead vanished but after watching it, not so much. Hawks make their living getting to the cup and defended around the rim. Neither was the case tonight.

It's good that we have a fun product now to cheer for, but this team should strive for more than that. Hopefully they will continue to improve and be a tough out in the end. Again, credit the Tribe too. They played a terrific 2nd half and showed why they are the best in the CAA this year.

Great game guys. Always tough to win on the road in the CAA and you guys came close to another big road win. Spruill was insane tonight. Go get revenge @ Hofstra this weekend.

Had to work a double but watched the great game on my tab whilst getting paid to do so.

Great to see UNCW back in the top tier of the CAA. Best of luck against HU.

20 pt lead with 20 minutes is a big lead but that is a ton of time-can't milk that.W&M is decent team playing at home and they can shoot the 3 ball, that means they can and most likely will make a run.A more experienced staff might have the team pushing the gas instead of going into stall ball but live and learn on the job.Losing a game like this with a huge lead is tough but it is a road game you were supposed to lose, move on.

Looking forward to the rematch at Trask, and then of course... baseball season. 04-chairshot

Hey guys...tough game to lose but it shows you are coming back in the CAA. You showed several quality players.

Just a word on the attendance...crowd of just under 2000 (1900) really held back by weather.... we had an ice storm the night before in Williamsburg and, while roads were clear, it was frigid all day. Kind of day many people decide to stay home. Also, students are still out (somehow they get almost a month off at a very expensive school--$48000 out of state and $24500 in-state) so that kept crowd way down.

Not looking forward to our return game.

Classy post. I love going back and forth with folks over at WM. Especially Tribal, but I'd never be upset to see your school succeed since I've always viewed WM as one of the classiest schools in the conference.

Your RPI improved after our game, so there's that.
