South Alabama's TE Wes Saxton was invited to the combine.

South Alabama's Brandon Bridge confirmed today that he has been invited to the combine.

It's all about his physical traits. They're hoping he can be coached up, which is what we had hoped as well.

It's all about his physical traits. They're hoping he can be coached up, which is what we had hoped as well.

The guy has a cannon for an arm. Hopefully somebody can get him reigned in. He will wow the scouts with his arm strength I would think.

Bridge had a good week and game at the NFLPA so hopefully he can build on that.

Saxton just ran a 4.56 40, first try. He's in the range of draftable TEs on that time alone, per the announcers. They said any TE running a sub 4.6 usually gets drafted.

He has the best time, so far, of the TEs.

I saw them talking about a player from Tenn Chatt and one of the analysts made a comment that went something along the lines of: this kid played in the Southern Conference, the longtime home of Appalachian State, so you know they play big time football.

that was Saxtons unofficial time his official time was 4.65, I think 3rd. Bridge was 5th place in the 40 for quarterbacks.

Mager posted a 4.44 40. 17 bench reps. 130 inches in broad jump. 38 inch vertical. Didn't get to watch him on the field because I'm at work. Anybody else see him?
