Lid finally came off the basket for Carolina...we had plenty of chances to get back into the game.

As bad as he has played, CJ is our leading scorer at the half with 8 points

RE: UNC
No penetration on offense. Settling for long threes and praying they fall. William Lee falling asleep on defense and loosing track of the ball, and lots of standing on rebounds.

And as always, Norton, the best shooter on the team has only gotten 2 shots off.

RE: UNC
Washington is obviously talented. He got a few nice offensive rebounds and had some nice baskets close to the rim. He then completely negates the good he does by airballing a three early in the clock and didn't get back on D on the ensuing fast break off the long rebound, fouling the offensive player to try and make up for not getting back. Couple of possessions later, he horribly bricks a three from the top of the key, again very early in the shot clock.

Maddening.

Why does coach keep allowing this to happen? I'd bench washimgton until he stops taking those horrible shots. He's obviously ok with us taking a crap ton of terrible threes, because it continues to happen over and over and over.

He's the point guard, so that's his fault.

If Haase benched everyone who was playing like crap, we would have to forfeit the game.

CJ hanging out at the foul line waiting for his man to come down court didn't help...

Definitely one of the tougher non-conference schedules we've played as of late. Next week we'll get to see if this has hardened us for CUSA play.
