How many of you thought CJF made a mistake late in the 4th quarter in not going for the first down on like their 40 yard line. Just a few plays before he had gone for it on 4th down and made it. I thought it was brilliant. Trusted our defense to hold them deep in their territory and set us up for the next series. Guts! And generalship on display!

We had hung our hats on the D all year. Let them make a play ornat least hold close to our inzone. Also, the punter hadn't had a touchback all year and all his punts had been inside the 20.

Nothing succeeds like success.

I don't think it was a bad call at all, primarily because it worked in hindsight! lol

Reason #34 I couldn't coach college football.

Thought it was a mistake and also thought the timeout was mistake on the 4th down going for the touchdown...Neither was a BAD decision but everyone has a different opinion.

Both worked out and everyone is happy.

It was the right call punting. He had all 3 timeouts. It was also the right call to take the timeout before the 4th down. If you don't convert or score the game is over so you better take your time and get the right play

I agree, but it's also the opinion that 98% of all coaches would agree with
