Uniforms rarely make much of an impression on me, but the ones New Mexico State wore in our game were pretty hard to get used to. It was a special occasion, however, so I'm not voting. I will say that if Western Michigan was in the SBC and the uniforms that they wore in their bowl the other night are their home unis they would get my vote hands down.

I dont really have a big problem with most other uni's but GaState needs a little work, they are still new and probably will end up with something a lot better in the end.

Do you need help getting up on that cross so you can be the martyr properly?

I think this Ga St combination is the best. Of course I love the traditional uni that our Eagles wear.

I really wish that were our standard home uniform and we save the all black for, you know, Black Saturday...

Can't say I think any of them are that bad. I actually like our blue and am glad that we consistently go with either the step GSU or panther head (though I think the panther head could be smaller). I didn't even remember our using the red underline at all this year. Wonder what game that was...

For the record, I really like the traditional look of GS (Penn State has some of my favorite unis in football) but wish they had gone with something other than a cookie cutter Bama look in blue. It's similar to how it's probably hard for most college football fans to see Delaware and not just think of Michigan. I know the nature of tradition would make something like that hard to change, but it's a shame that the look is so strongly associated with Alabama.

I don't mind State's uniforms and kind of like the all blue ones. I am not a fan of the 'new' panther head logo though.

GS uniforms are closer to Penn State because we don't have stripes either, Alabama does. Penn State also used to wear numbers on their helmets along with Texas and many others.

Fritz Crisler brought the winged helmet from Princeton to Michigan and then to Delaware. They were very popular with many schools during the leather helmet period though the number of stripes would vary. Even GS had winged helmets back in the day.

I will be happy if we just get down to one mascot logo and one letter logo. That would be tremendous progress. I like GS' unis. As soon as you turn on the TV you know who it is. By the way, playing GT has become a huge commercial for GS. Clips from that game are one of the featured "in Georgia" games at the College Football Hall of Fame that get played on the monster sized display board over the field.

I think the panther head logo idea is, welp, at least its better than the full panther logo. I think the idea is, ok lets get rid off all these others and reduce to one mascot and one letter logo. Then we can talk about changing/modifying those. But as it is its ridiculous especially since we have so many and HCs have had autonomy to use whatever they want. So there isnt even uniformity from sport to sport.

The all blue is one the stupidest things I've seen on a college football field. Makes us look like Violet Beauregarde.

Not a big fan of all any color with possible the exception of all-white away unis with the colored numerals.

Always wanted something more like this for GSU home unis.

I think that result is more a reflection of folks feelings about some of our posters more than anything. I could understand someone not liking our uniforms, but I'm not sure how they are ugly.

Ok we get #3 nationally from one of the biggest players in sports yet here we get second lowest. Yes, nothing but honest opinion, give me a break.

I would scrap all logos I have seen. None look professionally done. I wish we had never stopped using our academic logo, most of our newer ones are cartoonish as well.
