I remember when a coach had told the other locker room we were gonna curb stomp them, then told his locker room they better deliver on that promise, or practice was gonna be hell like no fury, lol....That was some swagger....Now if our BB team could only learn Swagger Like Jimmy Johnson's FB teams, Like Coach Cal's BB teams , and Now Coach General Justin Fuente's FB teams had and are getting....Oh well, Lets talk about Practice some more....The World Is Ours Memphis....

He is so lame- I can't even listen to him anymore. It's gotten to be a joke really. I hope these happy clappers get their fill whipping these patsys b/c conference play is going to be Ugly.

This years repeated words to go along with "well coached", "good players" and "we gotta make shots": Scoring droughts and turnovers. Every pre-game and/or post-game show, there is a guarantee to hear at least 4-5 of these.

Man a coach once said to a team...I got players, What I need is Wins, now let's go get'em....Hate the man and what coulda been, but that's some swagger....And the Swagger has been missing here for the last 6 years....Hard to say the truth sometimes because, as they say Truth hurts....University of Memphis, Delta's Team...The World Is Ours Memphis....Maybe we could get Bruce Pearl, and A upgrade if need be....The World Is Ours Memphis...

6-4, on to Western Illinois on Tuesday night.

I concur the AAC is not near as strong this season after a truly spectacular initial season last year. I think the top teams are Cincinnati and SMU. UConn seems down. I am unsure if any conference team is below 80 RPI right now. The TIGERS played better today but left at least 16 points on the court. We'll see how it plays out.

We appear to be W Illinois's 1st buy game.
They are 4-5, with some decent wins at home. However, they are 0-4 on the road with 3 blowout losses:
William&Mary 49-83
Akron 49-73
Cleveland St 54-76

We should handle them.

I am not high on Pastner but I'm not as down on him as some HOWEVER I cannot listen to his mindless drivel anymore either. It's mind numbingly stupid and annoying. I know he is neither stupid nor is he an idiot which means his regular mantra is intentional. It's vomit worthy.
