This is a random post but I'm randomly taking a day trip to Nashville and wanted recommendations of places to see and eat.

I have Centennial Park & Dave & Busters as two spots to go. She wants to go somewhere that has a lot of Christmas lights.

Any other ideas?

Opryland Hotel - which is adjacent to Opry Mills and Dave & Busters - has a dazzling and wonderful Christmas light display. Traffic is thick and tangled so allow plenty of time for transport and parking.

'83 is right on target. They really do a great job at Christmas time.

Opryland is perfect for Christmas. Walk thru the hotel and check out everything. They also have a ice exhibit.

There is really nothing else in that area of Nashville. Go downtown to Broadway and the Gulch.

Wear a BIG COAT, SCARF, GLOVES & HAT. Ice Exhibit is really, really COLD! Also, while at Opryland Hotel, check out Atrium and Yule Log lighting.

Did Opry Mills Mall open back up after the damage a couple years ago? I never did follow up on what happened.

I took my girlfriend there several years ago, and we had a blast. Lunch at the Rainforest Cafe, hours of shopping at some truly unique stores and a double feature at the Regal Cinema. I think we played midnight golf there too.
