I watched the interview with the BYU boys and Bronco...I suppose he seems like a guy's guy --someone you guys could sit down in a bar, have a drink with and shoot the ****, but I was not impressed.

Had a HS buddy whose given first name was Chevy. Said his parents told him he was conceived in one so that was the name they gave him. Nice guy, but crazy.

He once mooned a church van from the back of a pickup at 5 pm while we were doing 65 on a major highway all the while yelling to those of us in the cab "I'M LETTIN' IT HANG IN THE WIND BOYS!" He was standing straight up in the bed of the truck.

When the local cops pulled us over, they said "god dangit Chevy, next time hang your ass over the license plate. It took us all of 5 minutes to find yall"

Last time I saw him was in the local health department waiting room - he was sitting with a girl in a jean skirt, no makeup, and plain blouse. I was getting my MMR shot for college. Turns out he had knocked up a Pentecostal preacher's daughter.

The Code of Conduct for Texas A&M is "I will not lie, cheat or steal nor associate with those that do". Well, I am here to tell you that is a bunch of crap. I deal with those A&M folks and they do NOT abide by that code. So, I would be surprised if BYU employees do either. Those Codes are just propaganda for the students to keep them in line.

Sent it to the SUN SENTINEL in Broward County too. What the heck...spread the story around.

If you really wanted to spread the word you should have knocked on the editor's door around dinner time. You could have told him about the story several times all the while ignoring his rejections and attempts to get rid of you. Only after what would seem like an eternity to the editor, you decide that you have other editors that should hear this story as well, so you leave some copies of the story. 12 seconds after he shuts the door in your face, he tosses them in the trash and sits down to finish up his now cold dinner.

I wish JF would have just said "No comment". He kind of got dragged into it. although, to his credit, he didn't say much.

No comment could also insinuate that some of it was true. The last drivel about the coaching staff traveling to Provo to learn some defensive schemes from BYU probably needed to be put to bed. As bad as journalists are, some of them would run with that, and all we would hear today during the game is "BYU was nice and invited Memphis to come learn their defensive schemes in the off season, and it has come back to bite them today."
