It's not full. Just barely halfway.

To your point, it's a long way until they put their names on the dotted line.

Nevertheless, we got plenty of space for more kids to give us their word. It'll be really interesting to see how many spaces they keep open for last min surprises.

I'd say this is the least of any coaches concerns. Good coaches don't let scholarship limits keep them from signing top talent. If LF has 25 guys committed and a big time recruit comes along, he'll find a way to get him on board.

I'll be really curious if we delve into the realm of over signing similar to the big boys.

A few of our class this past year did not make it to campus yet...so there's an opportunity to backdate scholarships for early enrollees in January.

This is a great point. I'm curious about where our scholarship count lies. I suspect there's room for more than 25 next year.

On your point about a handful not making it to campus, it happens to everyone, but the frequency at which it happened under the former regime is to be expected when you don't bother to establish true relationships.

I forget the precise NCAA FCS regulation but its 25 max per signing class and I believe a max of 28 total who qualify for aid for the first time....I forget the deadlines for back-dating those additional three.

We will be fine on the 85 limit since there has been some normal turnover. Its the 25/28 that will be the limiting factor this winter.

Now with grey shirts, green shirts (early enrolled back-dated), the new blue shirts perfected by Jones at UT (pre-dating to next year's class)...it gets complicated keeping track.

Yeah, gotta think the commitment won't be soon after this visit. Still thinking he ends up at UC but just wants to go to PSU one more time before making his final decision.

Agreed. I think he has wisely stated time and time again that he's going to take full advantage of the recruiting process. He's taking his visits, doing proper due diligence, and pulling the trigger one time, and one time only.

I still feel like we're out in front. Heck, even PSU guys have CB'd him to UC at this point.

There was a moment in time....but then....radio silence. Who knows with this staff tho! I think i read on the OSU 247 page that he's a take for them, and Urban wants him. Seems like that's where he'll end up, if this is all true.

I really hope we can get Aeneas. He and Malik both seem like true leaders and good kids. Something about keeping your recruitment low seems old fashion and grindy, so oats would be great too.

Is Klein projected to play linebacker or d line in college? He's got an interesting offer list for a 4 star guy, lots of Ivy Legues and an assortment big programs.
