Wow. Just wow. This is an awesome listen about the inside of a program and Bo Pellini himself.

Thanks for posting.

RE: Bo pelini audio addressing team after firing
The B1G has been a circus in recent seasons. The administrations of Penn State (especially), Michigan and now Nebraska have had to do some major media damage control the past few years. And even Wisconsin is losing successful coaches to lateral/lessor programs that leave some scratching their heads.

As for Pelini, there's a fine line between being refreshingly honest and being a loose, unhinged cannon. You just don't go off on slimy internal politics, complete with name calling, with 100 student-athletes like that. They're still at Nebraska. You could even make an argument that Bo was trying to sabotage things on his way out by trying to create discontent and dissent in the locker room, and if that could leave his golden parachute buyout left to "reinterpretation."

Like many coddled athletes, Pelina appears to lack maturity and personal responsibility. I've always felt a person's true personality comes through in the most difficult of situations. I have more respect for many coaches than I do for this one.

Agree with above comments.

Bo Pellini was 100% unprofessional. Not good.

Pellini seemed to have one major objective: to discredit the Nebraska football program by humiliating the director, the school and alluding to players to transfer because of the athletic department.

I admire Cubit for being a professional during his departure.

Everyone has those kind of thoughts when they feel they are in the right and are being shown the door anyway. Okay to think that, tell your wife that, but to the team..so wrong. So immature. That said, it was like a car wreck, could not stop reading it.

Pelini has a non-disparagement clause in his Nebraska buyout. His rant may end up costing him all or a big chunk of his $7.5 Million.

while I don't agree with everything he said, some of his players would likely throw themselves in front of a bus for this guy. He is genuine.

RE: Bo pelini audio addressing team after firing
how to be professional:

Osborne: “I wasn’t forced out. I resigned. And that’s the end of the story.”
Q: Why do you think he had the impression you were?
Osborne: “I don’t know. I haven’t heard the tape. I don’t know that it’s legitimate. I’m not going to comment on something I know nothing about. I resigned as athletic director as of Jan. 1, 2013, and I stuck around for six months to help with the transition. That’s what I did. That’s pretty well-documented.”

Is Bo Pelini now making less than PJ? If so, what a roller coaster!

Pelini deserves to be castrated.

I wonder if his cat was there during the meeting?

Awesome. I love the oddities to this.

I do have to agree with what others say: He's at least GENUINE. That's how I am in real life (and well, on the forums too - lol). You step on toes and all, but at least people can look at you and know you're being real.

Few coaches are "real" to the public. It's good to have a coach who is out there in college football.
