All the pieces are in place. The Herman and Sampson hires are a great sign of things to come for Houston and the AAC.

I think if you ask any Houston fan, we respect the other members of this conference a great deal. We definitely feel we're in the company of other nationally competitive universities.

We have not had any support what so ever in the past....Plus I think the earth is going to stop turning, the President met with the UT President last week for 8hrs, and now the new Governor of Texas who is also UT grad saying nice things. Its more about getting along with UT, and the higher ups in the political circles. So this is a big deal for us.

IMO, this is more of a big deal on the education side then athletic side. You have to understand Texas Politics and it's relationship with UH to understand why this is a big deal.

IMO, this is more of a big deal on the education side then athletic side. You have to understand Texas Politics and it's relationship with UH to understand why this is a big deal.

Well, but even if you didn't you could still understand it's a positive and not a negative in any way and not try to belittle it though right?
