From a player perspective (ie recruiting perspective) you have a bowl game against both the SEC and ACC. The rest are either in FL or Hawaii during winter.

It's Access or Cure Bowl, if we become bowl eligible.
I have no sources and just making a prediction. Aersco will give up the Cure Bowl to CUSA to get an ACC team next season in Miami. My logic is the following:
1. Orange is a Semi Final, so even if the ACC gets a team in to the CFP no guarantee for a second team.
2. With Orange out, a possible Citrus birth is out.
3. No 10th bowl next year, just backups with St. Pete and Birmingham
4. Aresco likes the idea of a P5 in the Miami and the ACC needs another bowl, good chance with ND, they will have 10-12 teams next year bowl eligible.
Finally the other Carnac prediction, Christmas and Little Rock bowls will come into fruition. Little Rock another G5 bowl. Christmas PAC 12 vs the other P5 conferences if teams are available with the MWC doing a similar Cactus bowl backup arrangement. Not that I think we need more bowls, but with Temple, GS, App State, ODU, Tx St & Ohio they will probably create 2-4 more slots next season thinking they will be able to fill the slots.

The goal is our champ gets the Access Bowl...with Birmingham (SEC) and Military (ACC) for the runners up.

Definitely, that's icing. I'm just noting that all the games are either in nice destinations or against good opponents.

Aresco will sell off Cure or Boca bowl to get a better opponent in Miami again this year and in all odd years.
Mark it down.

We needed an extra filler bowl for the bottom of our lineup and the Sun Belt just needed bowls period.
Be thankful, this might be the Sun Belt's premier bowl tie in.
It reminds me of the CUSA years. When the 6th or 7th best SEC team would complain about playing in the Liberty Bowl, but to us that was the Super Bowl.
No might about it. I will be their best bowl. A bowl in Orlando Florida at a brand new (basically) stadium, against their highest profile opponent. Their other bowls are vs. the MAC and CUSA (all 3 of them). I don't mind this game if we play a ULL type team. Georgia Southern looks to have a pretty decent program also.

Hopefully we can do that, unfortunately we need the whole conference to win their bowls so we can take a step perceptionly.
