2014 Commits: BIG Offseason for GSU
The Panthers, just this weekend, have picked up 5 commitments. 4 from the JUCO ranks, and one from the UAB Blazers. Huge weekend for GSU.

Kendrick Dorn. A big 6-1 210 power back out of California. Good pick up due to the lack of RB depth. Big tough JUCO back. Other FBS offers include Hawaii, Idaho, and New Mexico.

Tyler Simonsen 6-4 305 OL. JUCO. Came from same college as Dorn. Big body that is predicted to play tackle I do believe at GSU. Other FBS offers include Akron, Cincinnati, Georgia Southern, Kansas, New Mexico, Southern Miss, Troy, and UAB. Guess you can count UAB out.

Demarcus Kirk 6-1 190 Running back from UAB who redshirted this previous year. Still four years of eligibility, looks pretty promising.

Dequeszman Kelley 6-2 285 DT or Strongside Defensive end. JUCO, with two years to play two. This is a huge pickup. Defensive Line is a big need, we couldn't stop the run this year. Other offers include Colorado State and Kennesaw State.

Dom Roldan 6-5 340 Huge versatile OL from the JUCO ranks. Predicted to play right tackle. Looking to instantly boost our offensive line. Make a few big pancakes. No other offers.

Demarcus said that a lot of his teammates liked their visit to GSU but haven't made up their mind, but he knows one defensive player on his former team who committed. Not revealed who yet.

Exclamation RE: 2014 Commits: BIG Offseason for GSU
Know last season ya'll took your lumps. But better times are ahead.

I know the merger with GA Perimeter will cause some "interesting" choices to be made, but the additional students influxed will eventually help grow the program and help GA State compete and give it more potential fans to draw to games.
