Who is your early pick for POY in MBB?
I would post a poll, but I'm on my phone and not doing all that research on here.

I'm gonna say it here Shawn Long is the POY and the best player in the Sun Belt.

I've seen one league team play not named Arkansas State...its kind of hard to name a POY without a single league game being played.

I don't need to see any, Shawn Long when healthy will average 22 ppg & 10+rpg. No one will be better. Not the Hucksters kid or Harrow. Imo Harrow is better than Huckster Jr.

Unless, you know, he gets hurt midseason.

I haven't watched one basketball game yet, so I'm gonna say it should be that one guy at Ga Southern.

Going to have to wait a little while on this one. Need to see some conference play. I'm not surprised that there is a Cajun fan already predicting greatness for one of their players already though.

I agree with you, Shawn Long is my Pre-season POY.

They named the Preseason POY in football before any league games were played.

RJ and it won't even be close. Especially when we beat Louisiana by 20 in every game. We're going to play with a chip in those games.

Unlike last year? Both games last year seemed a little chippy to me? :-)

I will say I was very impressed with Hunter last year and I would have picked him as the pre-season POY this year. That being said, I don't think he was the POY last year, but that's the way things go.

Hunter isn't even the best player on his own team, let alone in the conference. He is a shooter, but he is also a head case and not particularly good on the other end of the court.

Harrow is MUCH better overall than Hunter.
