I heard what he said and it wasn't a threat and if true, the official deserved it for what he said that prompted the response. Water under the bridge.

So an official asks which school will be hiring the HC after the season is over?? Why would that prompt a response from a player right in the middle of the game?

I don't get it.

Since it is on another board I will repeat it. Our guy and others pointed out that a Toledo player blocked our CB well out of the end zone. The ref responded with a smartass comment about them getting their A##es kicked and our guy said "F you!"

Worthy of a flag? Maybe, although the ref was way out of line. Worthy of an ejection? Not at all. Threatening? That is laughable.

He said eff you when the CUSA umpire blew off his comment about Andrew Tryon being thrown into the rail of the seats in the end zone.

Flag worthy but eff you was never considered a threat in my neighborhood, fighting words for sure but not a threat.

That was just because it was WKU, and you will always have a special place in my heart. I already knew our defense sucked. Toledo didnt need to prove it. Thank god we had an incredible offense, or we finish something like 3-8 instead of 7-5.

At our prime this season two of our three downlinemen were freshman and one of them got hurt and went out for the year. I made no bones about it. I wanted to play BGSU in Montgomery because the last thing we needed to see was a power running team.

Here's the deal on Arky State.

The last time we played them at home in 2013 I had to miss because of work. I'm keeping up with the game via phone. I had 2 different guys call me livid over how 'thug' the asu sideline was. One of our guys got tackled out of bounds on the sideline and the asu players acted like they were jumping him into a gang. It ended up stopping the game for awhile.

And I'm not one of those guys that thinks all of our players are fine young Christian fellows. We had a load of Willie Taggarts Flarda boys on this squad. Not Angels. But 2 different friends called me separately saying State was the thuggest team they'd seen visit.

This year against the Cajuns thuggery went on. State tried to spin it like any fan base does. But ask the Cajuns and you'll get an earful.

Now in a bowl game more thuggery comes up.

Happens once you can say Western is crying. Happens twice you can maybe say Western AND the Cajuns are crying. Three times......if you can spin this one you'd make Tariq Aziz and Baghdad Bob blush.

Seems to follow the Red Woofs.

Yeah the Cajuns leave out the part about when the near brawl started that AState coaches were grabbing players and pulling them back and two Cajun coaches got reprimanded because they wanted in on the action.

I believe the exchange is accurate. It was wrong and deserved a penalty but not an ejection. The officials were CUSA officials. Maybe someone from this message board saw the game and can enlighten us on the ref that claimed to be threatened. Maybe he sucks in conference games. Although it didn't cause the loss, I know I certainly wanted to tell the refs the same thing. I thought they did a pretty poor job.

The official told Anderson directly what Woodson said. There were players for both teams and multiple media members near enough to hear what was said.

The reality is, no matter what we answer we give here, you are not going to believe it because it doesn't fit your own agenda. So what is the point of arguing with you about it?

a comment that if he said would reflect poorly on him and most likely get him into some type of trouble from his boss. Then he takes advantage of his comments to throw out a player for a F-U

It had been the primer game before the championship game over the years. Now there is a week break which puts this game in a weird time

Primer game is kind of funny. The whole sports world wonders why these teams are playing in January. I didnt even realize it was on. Oh well. 1 game left until being relegated to a fan o the worst team in the conference in the active major sport until basketball ends.

I thought all the bowl games after the CFP semifinals seemed anti climatic to me....Only good bowl game was Houston coming back to beat PItt....Everything else seemed like what's the point after the Rose and Sugar Bowls....
