Which AAC bowl will have the highest attendance?
Maybe ECU and Florida? Relatively close proximity for both schools. UF is an SEC school that travels well and the matchup is a great incentive for ECU fans to make the trip. The big drawback for attendance is that the venue is pretty outdated and since ECU and UF play next season, fans may just wait to see that matchup in person then.
Miami Bowl will have okay numbers because of the national BYU following, but i'm not sure how many Memphis will bring. And Bitcoin will probably see maybe 25,000-30,000 because it's the day after Christmas (edit: max capacity is apparently around 28k, so it'll be a sellout). Not sure what to make of the other bowls.

The Military Bowl and Miami Beach Bowl should have good crowds but they will be limited by capacity. Both stadiums only hold about 34K. Slightly better, the Bitcoin and Armed Forces bowl have seating capacity in the mid-40s.
Birmingham is the largest venue by far (71,500). I expect that bowl to have the largest crowd.

Overwhelming majority of VT alumni and fans live in Northern VA which is just a 45 minute drive to Annapolis so I would imagine the Military Bowl will be well attended based on capacity

military bowl i would imagine. florida fans will likely sit this bowl out in droves. lots of interest in memphis fans but the timing and expense right before christmas makes a $750-$1000 per head trip jinky for most.

Bitcoin will have a good % of capacity but not a good overall attendance. With the football configuration in a baseball field the best it could be is between 28-30k. The entire left field area will not be sat since it will be too far from the field. It's a shame to waste 11 entire sections of 1st level seating but to make sure that all 25 sections of 300 seating will be available.

The bitcoin bowl only has a capacity of around 28,000 in football configuration. That stadium was designed to be baseball only, so the football field is at a strange angle for many of the seats. They have large swaths of the stadium blocked off for football because of this.

Birmingham is 10 hours from Greenville. Too far to go to see a team we will face next year in a game which many fans have already made plans to attend.
