I think that we should strike right now in the fundraising efforts for the Football Foundation. We should set up an easy way for people to donate.

1) Set up a text message donation option for sending $10 to the football foundation.
2) Set up another text message donation option for sending $100 to the football foundation.
3) Have a place online where people can donate directly to the football foundation.

All of the donations that come in are potential donors for the future.

Who from the football foundation can help us set this up?

How about getting 3,000 alumni and supporters each donating $1,000 a piece annually.. There is $3 million right there. That along with the annual foundation and business donations,
I would imagine we could raise @$8 million per year. We are not including gate and ticket revenue.

We can do this Blazers and do it quickly.

Also set up a way that college fans from across the nation can make a donation. If 5% of all college fans gave the cost of 1 ballpark beer, how many millions would be generated?

Vast majority of folks don't like bullies. I think a lot of college fans across the nation would cough up 1 beer to stick it to a bully. They only have to know about it and where to charge $5.

Of course, if it was really about the money we wouldn't be here now...

I agree. Again, we need some official fund set up so we can spread the word. I believe we would get a lot of outside support on this, but we have to strike now. If this isn't done for weeks, or months, it's going to be too late.
