I Pretty much agree with you. ECU should be 10-2 right now. Although Cincy and UCF should some real character with their comebacks.

I don't agree - you are your record. Discipline, intelligent play, and execution are part of the game; and ECU had huge lapses in all three at critical moments throughout the season. We are 8-4, no more no less. Without the heroics of our QB and a few others, we could have finished 6-6 or 5-7. Congrats to UCF and Memphis.

I thoroughly enjoyed the game. I was not picking sides, so I was able to enjoy the epic comeback and the stunning finale. That game gave the conference some much-needed buzz, and it was a credit to both teams.

I don't remem what ECU fan said it but he said something like get your points in the first thre quarter bc after that we start rolling. One play away from hitting the nail on the head. It was a crazy game and will last with ucf fans for a long time.

People on this board are too sensitive. Obviously UCF fans don't really think we are the only champs (because we won last year) just like Memphis fans don't think they got the only real trophy. It's just some good-natured fun and people take it way too seriously. On a less serious note, I hope Houston wins because 1/2 of the trophy might stand up in the case but 1/3 is going to have to lean up against the side or something (unless we do it sideways in which case, dibs on the top part!).

Dude ECU was completely dominated for three quarters, just feel happy your team was in position to win in the final minutes. Destiny would not be denied.

The game is 4 quarters, which is why UCF needed a hail mary to win it.

Both Memphis and UCF should be proud to be champs. Well deserved under the current paradigm.

Next year starts real football for the AAC with a championship game. Good luck to everyone.

You guys are good, no doubt...but no giant. Realistcally, not much better than ECU and Houston. Probably not better than Memphis and UC though we'll never be able to answer that this year.

Thankfully we have a championship game next year to all of this chest pounding non-sense to rest.

Okay, using the term destiny could be a little dramatic, but having to score a touchdown to win with 10 seconds to go and 65'yards from the endzone was pretty improbable.

Improbable yes. Destiny? No. Great game though.

I think UCF had a better season than almost everyone expected. I thought possibly 3rd with a new qb. Holman impressed me from the very first game he played in. His arm strength, size and quickness reminded me of how I felt when I saw Bortles play for the first time. But Bortles had a better o-line imo. The o-line was poor all season but UCF still found a way to win 6 games and only one loss ...in terrible weather...thanks to a great defense. So yes, I am very proud because they never give up and play right up to the end. Not much more you can ask for. Some of these guys will be playing on Sundays.
