Didn't Kelly say ND was his dream job while he was at CMU?

I think that Rex Ryan would be the splash great hire... I've thought this most of the year. Just not sure he would ever drop himself down to college coaching.

Given his boisterous personality, he might be a good recruiter.

Tressel should be the hire in Ann Arbor. I'd love to see their heads explode.

That said, if Schiano or Tressel gets the job, I would be afraid of them trying to pluck PJ for OC and recruitment coordinator.

The coach they just fired was a defensive guy who had bad to worse offenses, and Rex is an NFL guy.

That actually wouldn't be a bad option, if there's a lack of good/real options. Honestly. Michigan would rather win 9+ games almost every year by a guy with an angry attitude, than have someone on-their-way-up who's cool & great as a person but "goes Hoke" on their team.

Or perhaps James T. Kirk? OMG. UM's going Star-Trek....

Yes, Michigan is going to hire somebody who just got fired somewhere else.

That'd go over like a turd in a punch bowl.

That's why it would be funny.

Good point -- but when said person was fired not because of his Good record or breaking any NCAA rules, and a better candidate than any other potentials out there -- it's got to be a real option.
