I just called them and left a message scolding them for taking part in wrecking the lives of UAB players, fans, alumni, and students. I said I can't believe they went along with Ray Watts' plan to use them as a smoke screen to destroy a football program. I added that if they didn't agree with that, they should come out publicly and condemn Watts for using them for that end. It may do no good, but it didn't hurt.

Just tried to send them a message...Blocked by "Websense" on these crummy work computers, will try again where there is no "iron curtain." I've written their number down in case for some reason, their message feature continues to shut me out elsewhere.

I left them these comments:


You guys either participated in a plot to destroy UAB's Football program (orchestrated by powerful fans of another school - Bama) or you were used. If you were used, you should speak publicly and condemn Ray Watts and Brian Mackin for duping you into destroying a beloved program. If not, you are just as dirty.

You didn't consider this season in your ridiculous study. You used previous season's numbers when we were TERRIBLE. Why were we terrible? Because we had a horrible head coach - Garrick McGee. How did he become our coach? You brought him to us!

You should be ashamed for ruining a program and hurting tens of thousands of people!

Is it possible to pay them to do a study using the numbers they have now plus the numbets from tbis year. To show the viability of the prohram with the right investments.

It is my understanding that Carr is also under a NDA.

Do these NDA hold up only when confronted by media and the like? In other words, if they were subpoenaed the NDA becomes obsolete, correct? I don't know about the legal protections (if any) of a NDA, so I'm really just asking.

They wouldn't apply under subpoena, and they wouldn't apply if the activity sworn to nondisclosure is illegal (whistleblower protection).

Anyone that can answer the question has signed an NDA.

The media should grill the BOT and Watts and pressure them to accept a third party investigation. If they truly wanted to be transparent and dispel the "rumors" as they call it, then allow an investigation. No, we know why they won't do that. They know as well as we do that there are more than a few skeletons in the closet that would be discovered by any thorough third party investigation.
