I suspect Miami to have the cheapest plane tix with the most alum around. Any of you going to that bowl game if we play in it or possibly others? I dont know how many fans MAC teams usually travel. Ive only been to the Detroit bowl and Boise which were polar opposites.

I'm off 12/19-1/5, however the wife has to work on 12/22-23 and 12/29-30.

None of the Bowls that we might play in look favorable at this point.

Hoping to go, but will depend on schedule. Most options crowd Christmas Day. That would be tough in my family.

Regardless, hoping it works out.

If it is in The South, I will attend. No interest in Boise or Detroit in December.

The worst part is that we have to wait until Saturday or Sunday to find out. That cuts off time to make "affordable" travel plans. Also, day before Christmas travel will make it tough scheduling.

All things considered, going to Detroit is perfect for most of us for a bowl game - if it is not going to be in warm weather between Christmas and New Years or a few days before Christmas. The Go Daddy bowl would be ok if it weren't on Sunday 1/4/15 - night before most have to return to work. If the game was on Saturday night, I would be there. Good place to be for New Years - and not all that far from Nawlens.

Montgomery or Boca id be active. Idaho i'd be probable. Mobile due to being sunday night at 9 I am doubtful. Bahamas i am out, just not possible by any means for me. Any other at large I think I'd be able to pull off

and after looking at the cbs projections, if Ohio gets to go to Fort Worth, I am swearing off the MAC forever

Doubt any bowls will allow me to drag in a small cooler full of beer, like they did in Mobile. That was nice!

UT doesn't pick and choose what bowl they want. The MAC says "you're going here", and if we say no, we'll be sitting at home.

Obviously, things need to play out, but do you guys have any indication or leaning toward what projections would be?

I'm gonna be in south Florida around both the Bahamas and Boca bowl and I wouldn't mind watching Toledo in either of those if it worked out.

Hopefully the. MAC has a better showing then the last few years.

It will really depend on the matchups. One of the reasons I don't want to see UT go to Boise is because the likely opponents in that bowl (in particular, Nevada) would be a handful for our secondary, imo. There are several C-USA or Sun Belt teams, though, that Toledo would probably match up quite well with, particularly if we get Mancz and Haden back and Woodside has healed more. I'm hoping the MAC is smart with team placements this bowl season. I think at least 3, if not 4 of the MAC bowl teams, could win. Good luck to the Huskies against bg.

Not a done deal but here's what I'm hearing in Mobile -
- GoDaddy wants N. Illinois. Huskies have three players from Mobile and they could be ranked in the top 25 at the end of the year and are the top team in the MAC. If they lose Friday night GoDaddy might take BGSU. They travel really well to Mobile
- Toledo brought a lot of fans to Mobile when they came and Montgomery took notice.
- An official at the South Alabama Camellia Bowl press conference today said "USA fans in red would definitely stand out in the stadium against their competition" and some took that as not a home field advantage but the color discrepancy between the red and yellow of Toledo. May be way off on this though. I don't think it's a done deal though
