At large bowls for 4th belt team?
I'm hearing the Armed Forces Bowl is obviously interested in trying to find a way to bring in Air Force

TXST is on the AFB radar but there are a few reports now that Washington Husky insiders feel confident they are destined for either the cactus bowl or the Armed Forces bowl depending on how the Pac 12 title game plays out.

Armed Forces Bowl seems to be TXST's best bet for an at-large bid if one of the belt bowls doesn't call.

Is there any feasible scenario for USA to get an ALB if for some reason they are passed up for one of the Alabama bowls?

Nope. Heart of Dallas chance was lost when Big 10 got more teams to 6 wins. Independence was lost when SEC got 11 qualified. Cactus gets thrown around as a possibility but MWC will fill that before the Armed Forces Bowl.

Your best shot is the Go Daddy because they would rather have a program that will stay in town over night at hotels and not just attend the game. Cajuns are headed to the NO Bowl and Arkla State to the Camellia Bowl. There will be no other SBC Bowl teams.

I think I read some place that Georgia Southern is trying to get bowl eligible, but I could be mistaken.

Yep, but you have also read they were denied the first time and I don't expect a different decision on the appeal.

Then we can appeal the appeal decision? LOL

Seriously we need to just give it up and move on to recruiting.

From what the lawyers are saying, if there are any dimpled or hanging chads, there's still hope.

I know the rumor on Jags Jungle that's flying around is USA wont get the Go Daddy spot, but might have a chance at Montgomery.

I'm ready to buy some tickets and reserve some rooms. I'm not even sure when to schedule off from work. This freakin sucks!

That's not where I originally heard it, but that's what seems to be gaining traction.

Yes, we even use words containing as many as three syllables.

Did you hear the one about the cannibal who passed his friend in the jungle?
