How many bowls can be effected via trickle down based on what happens with the playoffs and access bowls? The top CUSA and MWC bowls will definitely be up in the air, what bowl matchups do the SBC have with CUSA/MWC this year?

Aren't all the bowls announced on December 7?

I think so, ESPN makes a big to-do and has a selection show.

There will be invites announced before then.

ESPN would like their bowls to keep quiet until Dec 7, but you will see several come before then.

I'd say around 2015 for App and GaSo.

Yep. I am sure App fans like GS fans will be very excited next year if we get any bowl.

When do Bowl invites go out?

Don't they have to get them printed out on really nice paper first?

It is really a shame that GS is not eligible, they are probably the most deserving G5 team. As SB I think they could hang with any other G5 champ. How many do you all return next year?

We're losing a fair amount. The biggest loses are pretty much the entire starting o-line, a couple of good WR's, and a good LB. Luckily we have some solid back ups ready to take their place and our QB's and RB's are still only underclassmen. We should be a good team again next year.

The big loss is practically our entire offensive line will be gone but almost all of our skill players on offense return. On defense we don't lose alot (I think 4 starters)

And Phil Steele has returning O-Line starts as one of the most important factors for a team.

Could be. I think most in Eagle nation are concerned but would never admit it. The good news is that our backups aren't exactly scrubs. I think we'll be ok, but that will be our biggest concern going into next year.

I would certainly hope Commissioner Benson is doing everything he can to make sure all 4 Belt eligible teams get a bowl game.

I agree that it's a huge concern, but there is also reason to be hopeful. GS signed some solid OLs last spring and pretty much every one has been redshirted.

Of course there will be a baptism by fire next season for whoever we trot out there, but it's good to know that the future OL is bigger and stronger than where the current starters were at that point.

Hopefully those guys have been taking notes at practice.

If so, looks like eight, maybe nine ( Miami-Pitt ) more schools become eligible.
