over NIU. I have a feeling that will be betted and come down quite a bit.

Who would have thought before the season began that we would be favored at all against NIU? .....I was probably the only one, right?

I didn't see this spread coming, but like jubba said, it was probably set to get heavy action going the other way first.

I'd bet it if it were twice that. Hare is TERRIBLE. Stingly is gassed after ten carries. Their defense is good against teams with a limited offense.

CMU and a healthy UT were the kind of match ups we have to have a great game against. We can have a poor game and still beat NIU. CMU exposed them. Call your bookie. Take us to cover.

Note to self- My reverse pick strategy of picking us to lose (and we always win) has been very successful. Do I dare make a truthful pick and risk jinxing the team.

I think if Franklin can play some but we don't over-use him (Chance should be just fine to use) -- we'll win by 10-13 pts. We don't Need Franklin to beat NIU, but if we play him hurt and he can't run well but we play him anyway, that Could end up costing us the game, IMO.

They aren't really as good as their record. I'd expect wmu to cover 7 easily.
Unfortunately for you, emu isnt beating toledo unless there's a bus crash.

I made the comment over on the Huskies board there is no way Toledo is losing to Eastern unkess they don't show up. Toledo's band could beat the Seagulls. While they are still entertaining dreams if going to Detroit for a MACC the Broncos dream ended when BGSU laid an egg at Toledo, so the Broncos can now dream of the Bahamas or Boca Raton.

WMU 4

Take the over

Central beat NIU by 17 in DeKalb.

We just beat Chimps by 12 in Mt. Pee.

Favored by 7 in Waldo sounds low.

But then we don't have great recent history vs. Fleck's alma mater.

I just checked and the consensus seems to be WMU - 7.5 now. I'm surprised that this has gone up rather than down. These numbers were from Wed. evening.
