Hey UAB fans
So any idea when you will learn the future of your football program? We're pulling for you up here in Huntington as I am sure the rest of CUSA is. We were talking in church today that you all don't deserve this crap.

RE: Hey UAB fans
The results of the "study" are supposed to be released shortly after the Southern Miss game next Saturday. It is supposed to find new ways to improve funding for the program, but may as well reveal the fate of the program.

RE: Hey UAB fans
Well brief timeline for this week. PBJ is supposed to be on a local tv station Tues where I'm sure the issue will be brought up in some way since he's been the one behind the scenes creating it in the first place (show is probably nothing more than a way to fluff him up on his coming retirement from the BOT & what was accomplished under his tutelage). Clark the coach has given the admin (Watts/Mackin) till Wed for a reply else I'd imagine his move is to announce he's gone after the season (not fair to keep him in the dark). I'd imagine any current timeline on the Carr report being released after the USM game is very fluid & can be passed off from days to weeks (stalling is the roach's best policy) depending on what happens during the week. The behind the scenes stuff currently going on is who/how are certain people going to save face/jobs over the issue

RE: Hey UAB fans
You guys have a great coach in Clark. I hope the state and administration can move to keep the program going. Obviously, Clark has done an outstanding job in lieu of the circumstances. The Blazers are a very solid football team that looks to have a bright future with the right support.

No doubt. Just wanted to make sure to specify since the way it was presented was almost as though this were all publicly known information.

RE: Hey UAB fans
All G5 schools should support UAB.Despite what anyone thinks-THEIR school could be targeted by P5 schools for funding cuts, etc. Most already receive the little brother{or worse} treatment. If you think it wont happen you are VERY NAIVE.

That's real classy from a program who over the last 3 years is 4-31. That's worse than Marshall was in the 70s and in the 70s Marshall only won 23 games. Here are your 4 wins, UAB 62-27 (2-10), Alcorn State 26-20 (IAA SWAC team that doesn't play in the playoffs 9-3), Appy State 21-20 (Trans IAA program to IAA, playing mostly with IAA players, 6-5), UNT 30-20 (4-7).
