Cincy fans have entertained me when y'all get all sensitive. Personally, I enjoy the trash talk and don't take things serious on here.

Constantly defending or trying to justify your "assessment" probably means it's wrong.
Or that Memphis has peeked and has not shown much since 41-14.

I think that the Bearcats and Tigers are about even right now. The Bearcats were very impressive Saturday night. UConn couldn't do anything significant against that defense and Cincy's offense completely had their way on offense. I struggle with stating that the Bearcats have improved enough to overcome a 41-14 deficit, but I understand how a Cincy fan might think so. Even for the most fair minded of us; our minds still maintain an internal bias; including me.

Apparently, a very small one around Cincinnatti. It's called head to head. We don't have it because of a new conference and scheduling. But it exists in every other conference. You MIGHT win out and be declared Co-Champs but you cannot say you have a better team just because you THINK you are better than Memphis now. Better luck next year.

Um...considering these rankings are opinion based anyone can rank how they see fit. I rank based on who I think is the better team. the coaches poll has uc ahead of memphis at this point as well. I havent checked the computer polls but would be interested in those as well.

You can make an entire season about a 1 game sample size if you want and I dont blame anyone who has memphis above cincinnati, but I think uc is the better team right now. to me that matters.

You must not be looking at Memphis entire season. Based on the entire season, Memphis is #1 based on body of work. I could see an argument for UCF getting there as well since they did not play each other.

I promise you every bearcat fan is aware that on that 1 night two months ago Memphis was significantly better than uc. I promise you none of us forgot that game. we get it. it is the greatest thing to ever happen to memphis fans. If u want to keep bringing it up because it was your greatest athletic moment so be it, but just be aware we know it happened.

Memphis has had better moment than beating a hapless Cincy defense

You would never know it. I've never seen a fan base bring up and celebrate one game quite like memphis fans this year. it's really quite crazy. Uc has accomplished way more in the recent past but managed to say way less about it.

Memphis fans seem to only bring it up to some Cindy fan who thinks that, because Cincinnati is winning against the bottom half of the schedule, that they have suddenly become a defensive powerhouse and the best overall team. Lest we have to remind you guys that we were playing without our best defender. There is the possibility if we meet again that the score is even more lopsided.

UC could care less about Memphis....we don't use Memphis as a measuring stick because we've won more in the last seven years than Memphis has won in the last 15 or more.

Again, Memphis, GREAT YEAR...bravo. Do this about six more times in a row, go to some bowl games, get ranked (all things UC has done in the last eight years consistently) and then come back and I will give you mega props.

One game does not make a season. Virginia Tech easily beat Ohio State in Columbus. Do you think VA Tech has a better team than Ohio State?

Probably. The big ten sucks balls.

41-14. That's 5 scores. 3 td and 2 fg. 27 points dude. But I can see your point about how Cincy is better right now.

UC is stuck in this conference. You guys should stop trying to thumb up your nose and start building something with a team that is easily a natural rival.
