Gonna be a great weekend for cusa. Potential unbeaten season complete for Marshall. And a west division title game. Rice and MU would provide a good storyline. And La Tech brings some new blood in. I am rooting for La Tech because i think it would be an easier game. Hard to beat someone twice in a season. Go Herd!

Who'll be next to play Marshall for the CUSA Football title? We're about to find out.

I fully expect LTU to be 100% ready for us. Should be a heck of a game, because I also expect us to be 100% ready for them.

Rice at LaTech is probably the game of the season, in my opinion, for the conference, short of the CCG. Everything is on the line in the West, and it's being settled on the field, where these kinds of decisions belong. It's also on a national network, with great exposure for the conference. Fight hard guys, and may the better team win.

Yeah, we are probably only a little better than UAB, should be a cakewalk for MU.

Yeah, and we probably aren't as good as ODU. Would be a cakewalk for you guys.

Whether it is Rice or La Tech....this is what Marshall needs to worry about. Undefeated, at home, senior filled, great future NFL QB, should be a cakewalk championship game to big time bowl game, millions of incremental dollars for program/conference on-the-line, team 'focused', etc., etc.

Ooops. They play the game for a reason...

Our team needs to worry about it. As fans, I doubt we have any impact on the actual game. Whether I do or do not worry (I do--for the record), it is meaningless.

Of course, a loss is a possibility. I would hope our team members and coaches are cognizant of this potential outcome. I think Marshall, and either Rice or LA Tech would all have considerable individual concerns about the outcome of playing the championship game in Huntington.

Thanks for the support but I wouldn't lay any money on the Bulldogs if we end up in Huntington.

You played UAB under different circumstances. Their program wasn't on the line really then. Their bowl season wasnt on the line then. Their community hasnt rallied around them then. It wasnt senior day then. UAB played their hearts out and had they played that way against Tech, they win by 2 TDs.

That being said, ???? i called UAB being our toughest game for a number of reasons. One being they have a very talented, et inconsistent team. They have a fantastic Oline that matches up well with us and a great coach. All they needed was the motivation, and by god, they had it that day and they played a clean, good football game.

Please beat Rice though, id love to beat La Tech by 40 in huntington.
