They don't want to play anyone ranked #50 or below.

I don't know if Tech sleep walks through games with teams they believe to be below them and loses but I hope we get a shot at Marshall. I would like to see how one of our lesser talented good Tech teams in history stack up with maybe Marshall's best.

I will agree with this. I don't consider this a good season for that reason. A successful season based on what we did last year. This year's team would have been 1-7 during our WAC days in conference. So, no I don't think we are good. Anyways, looking forward to the game with Rice. No need to get ahead of ourselves. If we get by, Rice who knows. Our history is to lose when expected to win and win when expected to lose in big games.

Yeah, we are probably only a little better than UAB, should be a cakewalk for MU.

You played UAB under different circumstances. Their program wasn't on the line really then. Their bowl season wasnt on the line then. Their community hasnt rallied around them then. It wasnt senior day then. UAB played their hearts out and had they played that way against Tech, they win by 2 TDs
