Was at the game today. Felt colder than last week in Kalamazoo, and after going down 14-0, it was sapping my mojo. My son and I were at 40 yard line behind our bench. Honestly, fleck was great when we were down. Very encouraging. Got me going even.
I must say, that was one of the most satisfying sporting events I have been to. Fantastic game, great win,and I love our team after the game. Classy but tremendous celebration, and brought the trophy's to the bronco faithfully and sang fight song with us.
My son jumped onto the field and ran down jarvion franklin. He asked for a selfie with jarvion, and jarvion was awesome. Its a perfect pic of him and Ben.

I so envy you. Sat through many great bball wins with my son, but not many GREAT football wins.
And yes, the completion of my day.....UM loses at home to Maryland. If the Lions can pull one out, this may go as my best sports weekend ever.

Chances of that are Really slim, now. UM lost to Maryland. At Home. Without tons of fumbles & ints (just one 1 INT).
UM plays Ohio State next. While OSU can be challenged by a not-so-impressive team, they're going to turn up the heat like they did against MSU -- especially since they need to impress the football gods to get into the 4-team "playoff".

Part of me would love that, but the reality of that business, and the responsibilities I have at home, plus the trend in that arena towards younger (less expensive) talent would make it not probable. It is a young man's "foot loose and fancy free" vocation now, (maybe always) and again..thousands want to do it..just a few jobs come up. What they really need there is a three man staff. It is a 7 day a week 365 day a year gig..and while a three minute sportscast in itself is not hard to do, the scheduling with two guys is.

I hsar you. To many of today's sports broadcasters are try to use funny quips and/or some funny catch phrase because they see some of the older SportsCenter anchors succeed at this through the years they try to copy these anchors and not b ex's themselves. It's nice to know though, that their are still people that put family ahead of work and sports. :-)
