I guess no one has died under Enos...

Quote:Since that nice early 14-0 lead against our rivals, at our house, we've been outscored 32-6? I'm thinking contract extension.

Quote:Seriously fire Enos. It's not just heat of the moment reaction. He's a garbage football coach. We are going to be stuck in this hell forever. 4-16 against UT, BSU, NIU and WMU. That is beyond pathetic. This guy is a joke and will never lead us to anything. He's been surpassed by Fleck after 2 seasons. Time to end this disaster and start over.

Quote:We all bashed Western for hiring Fleck. We laughed at his coaching style. Fact is, he is a better coach than Enos. Western will be a better team as long as he is in Kzoo.
He recruits better and makes better in game adjustments. We either get rid of Enos or get used to losing to WMU.

Anyone else notice Enos smiling practically every time the camera panned to him while CMU was trailing in the second half? Is that how he copes with it or something? I was really confused by that...

Fleck was ranting about the uncalled fumble by Rawls (replay showed it clearly was) and he was laughing at Flecks antics on the sidelines.

Maybe we can hire him next year. We'll need a good QB coach.

years not over yet...I would steer clear of Mt. P tonight...gonna be some upset chips. Tonight is ripe for an incident as it is just "part of their culture" so says Brian Kelly (or Saint Brian as they refer to him).

RE: Direct Link to Chimps Melt-down Here
I actually think Enos is a decent coach. Although he does get too conservative at key times of the game.

While I think we have better coaches, I think it comes mostly come down to talent. And right now I think we have more of it, and in the next year or two could have a lot more of it.

If I were Fleck I'd try and poach Rayshawn Welborn (we offered) out of Lansing and DT Shamari Bellamy. Bellamy is a teammate of Junior McMullen.

I wouldnt bother with Logan from Mendon. Mendon got so lit up by fellow Class D Musk Catholic that I just don't think he could add much at this level.

I agree. Enos is not a bad coach. You have to admit he got the APR up and is changing the off the field culture. They have had a decent season. He deserves an extension.

He is burning with Fleck-envy though. And that makes him not-so-likeable.

Well yeah, but isn't everybody? Fleck is going to be a god. Not there yet, but you can see it coming. I would not be surprised to see him in a Super Bowl, if I live that long.

Speaking of links to other fan boards... I know most of you are aware of this, but the 12-page thread following every Bronco game on the Texas Longhorns fansite is still going strong.

What started in Fall 2013 as mostly mocking has eventually morphed into some actual fans. There's still some laughing, but it's transformed...

Quote:$#@!in Fleck. Love what hes done with WMU. Especially the pool party/beer bong video. Looks like the community is really embracing what he's trying to create.

Quote:i should have thought of this long ago. their campus is only 3.5 hours from indy. anyone midwesterners want to go to a game next year? i'd like to do it this year, but weekends are just too full right now.

Quote:i wish that there was a chance they'd make a bowl anywhere near where'd i'll be (they won't). i'd attend in a heartbeat.

Quote:I follow Western Michigan as part of my Google Now Updates. How could I not? RTB

RE: Direct Link to Chimps Melt-down Here
Here are a few of my favorite gems:

Quote:Butch Jones was smart enough not to change the Kelly formula. Enos blew-up a successful system. If Enos took over the McDonalds restaurant in Mt. Pleasant, he'd probably dump the hamburgers for BLT sandwiches.

Quote:The Boat Captain and his boss, Kathy, will be sailing home in the boat to K-zoo popping the champagne and celebrating. We're stuck with an average head coach and average AD.

Quote:I'm not sure we should go to a bowl game. We might get embarrassed. Maybe we could play ND in the Underachievers Bowl

Quote:What's even scarier is that we're one "rent-a-RB" away from likely being 4-8.

Quote:Enos said nobody had a tougher schedule than CMU. You mean 3 bad BCS teams? Easy crossover games? A down West where you finished 4th, again. This guy needs to go.

Quote:Five minutes after the biggest loss of the year Enos leaves with his wife in a golf cart. LAUGHING.!!!!

Quote:If we get offered a bowl game, turn it down, we don't deserve it.
