UAB fans!!!
Hats off to you and your program. Its well known that i penciled this game as our toughest game of the year and most likely to lose. I said i would be happy with a 1 pt win. WKU and La Tech, i believe we roll in both games. This was our hurdle IMO to that magical season.

I knew this UAB team was very talented, just inconsistent. Your guys had their bowl hopes, fans, and their very programs future to play for today. They did all of you proud. We were very lucky to leave Legion Field with a W today.

I hope that UAB football continues. Bill Clark is a hell of a coach and you guys are right there with the best of em in his first year. Get that bowl bid next week!

Sincerely,

a very relieved herd fan.

I agree totally! I wanted UAB at their best and you guys gave us a hell of a game. Keep up the great work, keep Coach Clark as long as you can, and let the state know UAB football needs to continue!

03-lmfao Thank you, "Go Herd." I will not forget this game in my lifetime, because the presence of your fellow Marshall fans made the event all the more memorable, this was IMO, the C-USA Game Of The Year...Keeping a good thought for the Thundering Herd and their terrific fans this season.

RE: UAB fans!!!
If Rice beats LaTech, we won't be playing Tech. We'll be replaying Rice.

Attendance Fact: #UAB drew 6,000 more fans to their home game today than #ColoradoSt. The Rams are 10-1 & in contention for a major bowl.

AL BoT's hopefully are told of such things...

How many did we have in Birmingham? They're fans seem to imply it was substantial. Just looking for an estimate.

Tired of moral victories. No doubt the program is moving in the right direction, but damn, moral victories get old.

I'd say somewhere between 1500-2000. Just a guess, could be less (doubt it though), could be more.

Id say thats right on the money.

And i know that MUther, posted this before ODU blindsided La Tech and made a defacto west division title game possible next week. Still think its La Tech. And i hope it is because they would be an easier opponent to beat.

You really don't like those guys, do you? Funny stuff.

Doesn't matter to me. Beat 8 win LaTech once or 8 win Rice twice. Six on one hand to anybody not in conference.
