Sort of. We can only get an invite if there aren't enough eligible teams. But to even have a chance is huge.

Congrats to Old Dominion, y'all played hard and took advantage of our mistakes and lackadaisical play like good teams do.

Disagree - we have the better team and will be home and should beat Rice but they are pretty good

What part are you disagreeing with? They played a good game, we did not. They deserved to win the game after kicking our teeth in during 2nd half. And I have seen this play out too many team over the last 25 years. We seem to always whiff in the must win game at the end of the year. So yeah, I am not confident.

Stars aligning for David Bailiff and Rice again. Now Rice just has to execute in Ruston next week so we can get another crack at Marshall. Funny, we owe ODU both for knocking us down and picking us back up this season as far as the conference goes. Now it's on us. Go Owls!

Or we could spin it to where if the right teams win next week we could have 8 bowl eligible teams on our schedule.

-Ohio, Akron, ODU, MT, Rice, UAB, WKU, LT

RE: LaTech @ ODU
Good game ODU! It not very often you lose a game when forcing 5 turnovers. Your coach figured out you were not going to win a shoutout so he keep the ball the whole 3 rd quarter. Holtz hopefully learned today you can only ride Dixon so far. He goes into pucker mode the 3 possessions we had in the second half. You guys deserved the win. I wish we had your OC, Sokol is a better Qb than most think but our staff doesn't trust anyone but Dixon.

Oh lord. Do y'all really want to face Marshall again? That was a joke. Just forfeit and let us see what we can do.
