Do they practice those?

From what I've seen at pregame & halftime shoot arounds, yes they do. And a whole array of other types of trick shots.

We are going to be lucky to have a .500 season. Seriously.
Think about it. We cannot defend. We cannot shoot. We don't steal the ball anymore because we are not quick handed or footed; thus very few fast breaks. Hence, we don't score on many possessions at all.

Prarie View could be a close game. Be prepared.

I love my Tigers and have for over 50 years. It's gonna be a loooooooong season.

Pretty much sums it up. What worries me is a number of folks are giving up their tickets next year.

.500 for this year is what is going to happen; and NOONE can relax because that is all that is expected.
Because a 2nd year of that gets someone fired.

This is why you do not evaluate and give expectations based on emotions. Nothing has happened that has said that we will have a record anywhere near .500. That is insane. Last years team got ran out of the f' ing gym early in the season. We just lost to a highly ranked team who has the most experienced backcourt in the nation, and we did it with a group of guys who played their first div 1 game. I would say that if we stop thy turnovers, and find an outside shooting threat, we are going to e pretty damned good.

03-shhhh

They'll be coming after you with pitchforks and torches next if you keep talking Pastner-loving jive like that.

Yea, I know. The thing is, I'm not talking about pastner at all. I'm simply pointing out how ridiculous it is to think this is a .500 team.

In a way, I don't have an issue with it, in an isolated situation. Been around a long time, seen a lot of stuff, both good and bad. Part of being an actual fanatic. The program will endure.

All that other stuff about the deeper meaning for Pastner, the future, etc. is out of our control anyway. I'll just watch the next game, and hope we win. I'll take that half court shot to win, too, lol.

I'll take a bunny.

Agreed this team can just as easily be a tourney team as it could have a losing record...I don't think anything it is set in stone yet.

I think the jury is still out. I hope we win and then start stringing some things together.

I'm hoping Wichita St was a wakeup call. Not the loss (ok, they are good), but the lack of competition in the 2nd half...

I say they will get better and better as the year goes....there are still some talented pieces there. We just played what is arguably the best team we will play with a bunch of new players...

No just making a statement and if we have a bad year, it will escalate.

Honestly-I pray to be wrong. With every game, I will have at least a kernel of hope.

I really didn't mean you specifically...just in general. I think it's way too early for that, but you're right....it could get bad. I am keeping my seats either way.
