Texas State should be able to take care of business next week and get to 7-5 and a definite bowl game

looking at the roster they have a lot of seniors, and I am not sure how many get significant playing time, but RLowe and the QB come back and it looks like the major losses are on defense

Oh yeah? Well bring on the UNTs.03-lmfao

hey brah they were 9-4 JUST LAST YEAR! and packed The Cotton Bowl with 68,578 fans that were all north Texas state fans except for the 3 UNLV fans so take that brochepus!

Been half asleep the whole game. Muscle relaxant. Pacing was the only thing keeping me from falling on my keyboard.

IKR the ticket counting machine was broken and there were some SMU people in charge of the ticket takers and if you saw the crowd you know it was really more like 73,937 of solid different color greens from through the years of changing the green every year or two.........but it was into the SOLID 70K brosuph

Just about every A-state player came up and congratulated coach Thompson after the game. Classy move.

I've got to look at the final stats, but I believe we played 15-17 guys total on defense tonight. There were a few on our line who literally were never subbed out.

We're at the point injury wise that it might make more sense to beat NMSU and call it a year than risk depleting ourselves even further with a bowl game. The truth is, a bowl game would not be pretty, because we're not expecting anyone to be back in time.

These seniors deserve a bowl, but damn we really need that time to heal.

Congrats Tx St! Another bowl eligible team for the SBC! Win another, and make it hard for the bowl committees to overlook you.

Well Texas State, if we both end up 7-5 it will be time for us to step aside and see you off to your first bowl. You control your own fate as far as I'm concerned.

My question now is, Does the GoDaddy like a 6-6 South Alabama team over a 7-5 Arkansas State team?

Conference will tell them to take South Al.

Do you prefer the fainted goat or the lame cow? The lame cow is at least your very own lame cow.

Personally though, if we're not going. I'd prefer USA to Camellia and TXST to Mobile. I think the TXST people would enjoy GoDaddy a lot more than USA folks would.

Congrats to TxSt finally that signature conference win. A State we know the feeling of how injuries can hamper a season you are still a good team no matter what. Now I hope this doesn't put us in the GDB to open NOB for TxSt I do not want to play outside in the middle of January.

I'm hoping it means a spot opens in Texas and all four teams go bowling
