I feel like we're gonna get blamed for this.

We've had all sorts of weather this year. Nice and sunny, thunderstorms, cold and wet, cold and snowy and windy, somewhat chilly but otherwise fine, regular cold, windy cold and now muggy warm.

The last time we were in Louisiana, to play LSU, our game was moved up too. This was done to avoid a hurricane.

There are some bad thunder storms expected in the late afternoon, bringing thunder and lightening. You get a lightening within 8 miles, game suspended for 30 minutes. Multiple strikes, the clock keeps ticking. It's senior day. The 1 pm move was for the best.
in speaking to **************, after the coaches show last night, all parties involved were in quick agreement.
Props to Appalachian St, Sunbelt conf. Office and ESPN for having no issues.

looking forward to a competitive game

Funny - but true - don't stereotypes usually get it wrong?

If no one has mentioned the change to the officials yet, might I suggest we start the game without them?

I'm on board with that - probably would make for a better game!

One thing of which I'm confident about this game, barring an officiating-crew-from-hell, if AppState beats this Cajun team, it'll be because they're the better team. Hud will have the Cajuns ready to play.

Disclaimer: The Sunbelt is known to be the home of several officiating-crews-from-hell.

RE: Louisiana vs Appalachian state
losing our starting NT for this game is huge, he was playing great, and at 6'3 310, his big body was really needed against the power running of ULL, got a real bad feeling you guys are going to take advantage of him not in the lineup and pound us between the tackles. I guess we caught a break with the game being moved up, if we have good weather, we should have a field day against your secondary. Fast track, no rain we atleast have a chance, bad conditions where passing becomes difficult, and running is key, I don't like our chances.

RE: Louisiana vs Appalachian state
The Cajuns will be very focused for this game. They are constantly reminded of how our Senior day went last year. Same scenario with NOLA bowl knocking.

This is HUD'S senior class and we've got a lot of them. This is a special day for these guys and they've put in the work during the offseason, week-to-week, and watched plenty of game film on App St.

Our gameplan will be the same. Run down hill with Alonzo Harris, skirt the corner with our NFL RB, Elijah McGuire, tuck for 10 yrd gains with an effective Broadway, then finally when you continue to stack 8-9 in the box, we'll throw a big wheel-route or hit a wide open James Butler running the post.

I feel good about this game due to our DEPTH. We can probably go 3 deep at each position and still have the strength and size to not have a drop off. We will run the ball w/out restraint and we'll be able to limit Cox's yardage forcing the Frosh QB into unwarranted throws.

This game plays to the tune of 38-24 good guys.

Safe travels

Especially when the people portraying the stereotypes are from Hollywood or some other Yankee town.

I give App a fighting chance here. Its going to come down to how their defense handles the Cajuns 2 headed RB monster. I think they can pass on the Cajuns, which should give Cox some running room.
