pregame-postgame should be perfect football weather...hoping for 35-36k

If thats the best we can do ,thats a damn shame

We've Never pulled in a good November crowd. Even during DW's years

November 1 2003 1:00 PM East Carolina Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium W 41–21 40,131
November 22 2003 1:00 PM Cincinnati Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium W 21–16 42,884
November 29 2003 1:00 PM South Florida Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium L 16–21 47,875

November 4 2004 6:30 PM #14 Louisville Libety Bowl Memorial Stadium ESPN L 49–56 52,384
November 12 2004 7:00 PM Southern Miss Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium ESPN2 W 30–26 47,163

November 1 2005 6:30 PM UAB Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium ESPN2 L 20–37 47,669
November 26 2005 1:00 PM Marshall Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium CSTV W 26–3 46,403
Well, somewhat in Drew's defense, every single one of those games had 5,000 of the $5 Kroger tickets. (2003-2008 were the Kroger ticket years) And the Louisville game, Fedex had a HUGE ticket give away

cant just admit that it was an incorrect statement?

Quote:With a postseason trip secured, the University of Memphis football team has moved on to its next quest: winning an American Athletic Conference title.

The Tigers enter Saturday’s AAC home game against South Florida with a 7-3 overall record and a 5-1 league mark. With wins over South Florida (4-6) Saturday and UConn (2-7) next weekend, the U of M will finish no worse than in a tie for the title.

Oh, and there’s that eighth win, too. If the Tigers beat USF, they’ll be an 8-win team for the first time since 2004 and for only the third time since 1973...

The crowd: Tiger officials are pushing hard to encourage a huge gathering at Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium. Having won four straight, including three on the road, the Tigers are hoping to approach the 46,378 who bought tickets to the Sept. 20 Middle Tennessee State game. Bowl officials like strong fan support. So do potential Power Five conference suitors.
Mid 20,000's as of right now. Moved up from low 20,000's this morning. Weather may be moving in a little sooner than expected so we will see if that has an impact. 10% chance of rain during the day, but 90% starting in the early evening. The heavy stuff wasn't supposed to get here until after midnight. It's coming sooner

Why would you post this. This is so not true. You could have kept this to yourself. You can ruin things with this stuff. Stop it.

That's the one that popped out in my mind.

Loserville traveled well for that game. Remember a Loserville alumni tent across from the coliseum.
We still had allot of blue in there though.

I know Memphis can do it.

Heck, we had over 17,700 in the FEF to watch the lowly Celtics.

Go MEMPHIS
