Yeah parity is only an issue if you're losing to other conferences.

Yep! When the SEC loses to SEC it "shows the depth and strength of the conference".
When the AAC loses to the AAC its because "theres so much parity since there isnt a dominant team at all in that conference".

Not necessarily...if there are two champs and the two are UC and Memphis then yes, you beat us head to head, but since we are co champs it means we have the same conference record. Therefore you most likely lost to a team we beat. So I don't think this makes you the 'real' champs at all.

Actually, it is not a good point. That is why the head to head match up is the first tie breaker in almost all sports across the board. We are just in an unfortunate situation this year, and a team that got curb stomped gets to share the title.

I know UC has to hold up their end of the deal but the point is made...

If we curb-stomp Houston, they would have two AAC losses. We would still lose the direct tie-breaker to Memphis.

Now, we could throw the game vs. Houston, so that the Houston fans could, in turn, snicker at Memphis
