Quote:A coach with a hat on like this todd?
Well, that guy isn't so young. That guy looks like Enos with a funny hat -- so no, NOBODY would want that... :)
Quote:jeebus Todd, you babble like a brook. Not sure what you said - more like a stream of thoughts, in no particular order. Mind translating that into something I can understand?
Fair enough -- it was a verbose rambling. Essentially: One can't "ha ha" at Fleck-Skeptics and those were pissed about hiring him as the season wore on last year, and coming into this year. There was no excuse for 1-11. It wasn't A game, it was a season. But I think a "ha ha" is applicable to those who Still didn't like him when winning this year, and still think he puts a bad/unsettling/odd image to our program because he's loud, energetic, and boisterous.
IMO, his attitude & projection is overblown in the negative. He takes a non-traditional approach -- he gets it done in the end. I'd take that over a bald, fat, older coach who swears like a sailor under his breath and goes 6-6/7-5 (old man in hat).

"young, fun, boisterous," coach going 1-11
Yes -- exactly. That's why I say Last year, and coming into this year -- wanting an old man in a hat be the coach Was Warranted. Of course. But by the same token, it was "too soon" to be firmly grounded in that notion -- it was still a wait-n-see situation. Maybe this new young energetic coach could get us to that glorious 6-6 mark which would be Big stepping stone after his horrible 1st year. OH, way better now. That's why anyone who doesn't Like that he's our coach does deserve some Ha Ha (and eyebrows raised in confusion).
Right now, Happily Embracing him as our coach is on the same level as last year Not wanting him being hired. Both are sound viewpoints in their period of time.
