Well Emory, we most likely won't have our star RB Franklin playing. If he does, it will be extremely limited for maybe a goal-line stand or something. That will impact us a lot, even if Rawls for CMU isn't being exhausted during the game... however, CMU can afford to have Rawls extend himself, as this is the last regular season game for them. For us -- we still have NIU.
Given that, I have to go with WMU. CMU is not looking ahead to any other game this (reg) season -- but we are. And it's in their house.
This will be a real test for WMU -- they have a good chance to win, don't get me wrong. But I believe given the circumstances, if CMU steps up and brings their A-game, and aims to be the team that crushed Purdue & NIU -- they'll end up with the win.

Thanks Todd! That's tough news about the RB. What do you think has been the turnaround this year as opposed to last season?

These would be the biggest factors IMO...
1 - There was a huge number of players that were injured before the 2013 season started and a few more as the season went on. About half the starters were gone before the season started.
2 - The new coach brought in a new offense and defense scheme. It was an adjustment year for the schemes back in 2013.
3 - Three Big Ten games before the MAC season started.
4 - The 2013 special teams coach quite a few weeks before the season. It certainly showed at times.
5 - WMU brought in the highest rated recruit class in MAC history for the 2014 season. The increased talent has shown this year particularly with the RB Franklin.

Todd, I'm perplexed as you seem to say in this post that each team will win. How do you square this (bolded)?
