Finally a Carolina team that can take the wrath of the NCAA over the UNC Chapel Hill violations. I look for the NCAA to throw the book at Charlotte.

Man that UNC system has its problems.

I hope this is not something silly like making the freshmen carry the equipment, etc.

lol, no. It is just that any little thing can be considered hazing these days.

UNC has it's problems. Hazing happens at every school. What probably happened was a kid casually mentioned it to his mom, and she went ape and reported it, my guess.

Shortly after I graduated one of those mild hazing incidents led to the death of a pledge. But hey it's a good thing no one overreacted before that and put a stop to all that harmless hazing because it's just good natured fun.

Kid you not, setting up groups and hours for pledges to study in the library is now considered hazing. I wish I was joking.

Indeed, and not just in North Carolina.
Any and all non ACC Div1 mid-Atlantic programs have been sweating; waiting to see which one of us would be the recipient of NCAA wrath - re Chapel Hill.
