1st - he could get hurt worse, I coached for 27 years, sprains take 3 week.
2nd - Give Chance a chance, he runs hard and pass blocks great!
3rd - Red shirt be damned, I watched 4 pre-season practices and scrimmages I thought Leo Ekwoge would be the starter this years.

Finally, we have best offensive line, best Qb in MAC, really good receivers, plus our defense is very, very good.

PJ & staff are worth 2 touchdowns over Enos & staff.

That's just coach speak Bald. He can't divulge his hand. Doesn't sound promising at all. Too bad, I was hoping he'd be able to play.

Hopefully he'll be ready to go for the NIU game.

I put it at 80% chance that he will play. It says its not a HIGH ankle sprain which means it's not that serious at all. We will find out more from the weekly presser.

HAAAAA no kidding.......Its my opinion but these injuries take time to heal and can flare up at any given moment.....PJ and staff wont be taking any unecessary chances with Franklin we will probably be hearing at game time he wont be ready to go! The proverbial "game time decision"

Thank you, much better...........and yes, I totally agree. Since this rumor has been confirmed I'm starting to deal with it. Chance could have a game like he had at Mt. Pee two years ago when he took one 55 yards to the house and Robin Hook said, "There's your dagger!"
