At least for two of the three remaining weeks this season. What are the chances (fellow USF fans) that Flowers develops and gets us two wins over Memphis and UCF? I would think that the upside of Flowers is large considering the number of stars he received out of high school.

He was highly touted but he is more of a project very athletic but the passing has ways to go.
I'm think that WAt is giving him a shot to spark the offense and also because the weather for the next two games doesn't favor a less mobile but better passer White.
I wouldn't be surprised if both White and Flowers play vs UCF

I'm interested in seeing how the kid performs in next two games but I'm not counting on him by himself beating those teams it will have to be a complete team effort rising to the occasion. We will be underdogs in the two games you mentioned.

Hes a very talented athlete but I wouldnt say he is an amazing QB yet. If the coaches simplify the playbook and allow him some read option to make plays with his feet, then I think he can keep us in games but winning out is a tall task. Ill be happy with a win today and a win over UCF. 5 wins doesnt get a bowl but it shows the program going in the right direction.

Doesn't he have as many completions to other teams as he does his own?

Hes barely played. So far hes been brought in for a couple gimmick plays and a single series. There hasnt been enough playing time at all to evaluate how well he will do.
Hes not gonna have to be amazing today to get a win. We have one of the top running backs in the nation and SMU has one of the worst run defenses in the nation. I dont think Flowers will be called upon to throw alot. This is a power run offense and well give them plenty of it.
