Charlotte won their exhibition against Newberry College 112-86. Braxton Ogbueze had 26 points, Torin Dorn had 19. Our newcomers look great, and it looks like we have a lot of talent this season. Watch out C-USA!

We didn't have our best post player, Willie Clayton. Our other possible starter in the post, Bernard Sullivan, also was out with a minor injury.

Our guards played out of their minds tonight. Holy **** if our guards can shoot even half that well against D1 opponents we'll be in great shape.

I really hope Sullivan does better here than he did at Clemson because Thorne still looks clumsy. I don't want to rely only on him and Clayton in the post.

Lastly, our defense looks terrible, but our guys also looked like they were even trying on defense most of the time. I hope that was just the plan to avoid injury and not an indication of how bad our defense is.

We hit 12 3-pointers in the first half. They may not fall like that every night, but we have some shooters.

FINALLY!! I know it was only an exhibition but it's nice to hear we may finally have players that can put the ball in the basket. Been a while since we've had a Diego, Jobey, or Demon type shooter.
